Rain Shortens 3C2A Women’s Golf State Championships
Three Raiders compete at State level
SOLVANG, Calif. (Nov. 17, 2025) – What was supposed to be a two-round, 36-hole 3C2A State Championship Tournament at the River Course at The Alisal in Solvang, Calif. was shortened to a single round as the course became unplayable following several strong weather systems in the area.
The first day presented unfavorable conditions as well, but the Moorpark trio of Kalia Aparicio, Savannah Fryhoff and Ali Muncy suited up for the Blue and White.
A sophomore, two-time qualifier for 3C2A State finals, Aparicio shot a 12-over 84 to tie for 19th overall in the field of 64. She got into a hole early on with a 45 on the way out, but chipped away on the back nine to finish with a 39, including a birdie on Hole 15. Overall, she tallied seven pars in her final collegiate round for the Raiders.
Appearing in her first 3C2A State Championships, Muncy used a stronger second nine to finish with an 87 (+15) to tie for 29th. After shooting par at Holes 5 and 9, Muncy added five more over the final nine holes, including her last two holes of the round.
Finally, Fryhoff placed in a tie for 44th with a round of 94 (+22) She shot par on Holes 3, 8, 12 and 18 in her first postseason appearance for MC.
The 2025 concludes with this weekend's competition.
