Raiders Remain Undefeated in WSC Play
Women’s basketball stretches win-streak to six
MOORPARK, Calif. (Jan. 29, 2026) – At the half-way mark of Western State Conference play, the 2025-26 Moorpark College women's basketball team remains undefeated at 6-0 after earning a 54-48 road victory over LA Mission last night. The Raiders have won eight straight.
MC opened a 20-17 lead after the first quarter and took a 39-29 lead into the locker room. Although Mission chipped away in the fourth frame, they would never catch up as the Raiders worked hard to the final buzzer.
As she has done all season, Maleyni Tolliver led the way, nearly notching a double-double with a game-high 21 points and nine rebounds. Alyssa Saldana was also close with a nine-point, nine-rebound performance for the Blue and White. She added five assists and a steal to her line as well. Hannah Lising posted 11 points with seven rebounds for the Raiders.
Off the bench, Rhema Clements contributed six points, five boards and a pair of blocks in 20 minutes of action.
Moorpark (19-3, 6-0 WSC) moved up two spots in the January 20, 2026 California Community College Women's Basketball Coaches Association (CCCWBCA) poll to sit at No. 3 in the state ranking. They are currently No. 2 in the WSC South Region as well with six games remaining in the regular season.
The season continues on Saturday, Jan. 31 when the Raiders travel north to Santa Barbara for a 5:00 p.m. tip-off inside Robertson Gym.
