Softball seeded #17 in 3C2A So Cal Regionals and will take on Mt San Jacinto in a play-in game
The Raider Softball learned their play-off fate on Saturday and were seeded #17 and will be on the road to take on #16 Mt San Jacinto for a So Cal Regional play-in game on Tuesday, April 29th at 2p. The winner will advance to Round 1 of the play-offs to take on either Orange Coast or Cypress beginning on Friday, May 2nd.
The Raiders finished the season 19th in RPI rating but were elevated to #17 by virtue of finishing WSC North above #18 Cuesta and to avoid playing conference rival Ventura who sits at #15.
Mt San Jacinto was the Inland Empire Conference Champion having gone through conference action with a 14-1 record. They finished the season 29-10.
Both teams shared 7 common opponents thorough the season with both teams mirroring won-loss record with those teams.
