The newly named #11 Men's Basketball team hosted LA City in pre-Thanksgiving matinee defeating the Cubs, 95-64. LA City is in it's first year back after a 30+ year hiatus.
The Raiders raced out to a 28-8 lead to start the game and finished the first half with a 49-27 lead. The Raiders used a balanced attack thorought the first half with all dressed Raiders getting playing time.
The second half started out the same way with the Raider's lead balooning to 29 points, 66-37, with 14 minutes left. Coach Higgins used the rest of the half to give his bench players important game speed experience. After it was said and done, the Raiders were 6-2 on the year.
Fr. Chase Aronowitz had a team high 14 points. So. Rocco Pompeo had 11 points with 8 rebounds. Kenji Cooper added 10 points.
The Raiders will take part in the Grosssmont Tournament taking on #4 Yuba College on Friday, 12/1 at 7p
