Dozen Raiders Earn SCFA All-Northern Conference Team Honors
Moorpark represented on both offense and defense
MOORPARK, Calif. (Nov. 16, 2025) – Following a successful second half of the season, which earned the Moorpark College football program an invitation into postseason play, the Raiders also learned this week that 12 members of the team have landed on the Southern California Football Association (SCFA) All-Northern Conference Team in 2025.
Leading the way were five unanimous selections in freshman Jude Hooks (WR), sophomore Da Vaughn Robinson (DT), sophomore Nolan Story (Def. Utility), freshman Evan Watts (DE) and sophomore Tyler Woods (ILB). All five were named to the First Team. Also hauling in First Team honors were freshman offensive linebacker Aurelio Medrano and sophomore cornerback Alan Gbee.
Joining the aforementioned on the All-Northern Conference Second Team were freshman defensive tackle Nick Andrade, sophomore safety Shyne Kalilikane, sophomore offensive linemen Elijah Ae and Gerad Gonzalez and freshman wide receiver Angel Urban.
Story played all 10 games and led the squad defensively with 73 total tackles, 48 solo stops, for an average of 7.3 tackles per game. He nabbed five interceptions, which were returned for 57 yards, broke up seven plays, recovered a pair of fumbles and came up with a block.
Woods was next in line with 49 tackles and 27 were solo. In 10 games, he added an interception for a 24-yard return and had 8.5 tackles for a loss of a combined 26 yards. Medrano recorded 48 tackles, 28 solo, in nine games, for 5.3 tackles per game.
In his final season for the Raiders, Robinson was a menace to the opposition as he recorded a team-high seven sacks for a loss of 63 yards. During 10 games, he tallied 43 tackles and added a forced fumble and a broken-up play as well.
As a freshman, Watts made an impact straight away, totaling six tackles for a loss of 39 yards, pushing back the opposing team 48 total yards throughout the season. He notched 34 tackles and also broke up a play.
Kililikane also totaled 34 tackles for the Raiders in nine games during his final season. He snagged a pair of interceptions, 2.5 tackles for a loss of 17 yards and added two broken up plays, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for Moorpark.
Finally, Gbee rounded out his MC career with 23 total tackles, three broken up plays and an interception that he returned for 56 yards while Andrade contributed 19 tackles, 2.5 sacks for a loss of 20 yards, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in his first season.
Offensively, Ae and Gonzalez played a huge role in protecting the Raiders this season. They created opportunities for wide receivers, Hooks and Urban, to move the offense down the field and into the end zone. The freshman receiving duo combined for 1,525 yards on 102 receptions.
Hooks led the way with 18 touchdowns on 882 yards. He caught 54 passes for 16.3 yards per reception and 88.2 yards per game. In 2025, Hooks had five games with over 100 yards receiving, including 165 yards in a 40-7 victory over Santa Barbara. The longest completion of the season that Hooks hauled in was marked at 59 yards. Overall, he notched eight games with at least one TD and tallied two or more six times. A season-best four touchdowns came against Allan Hancock.
Urban came up big against the top two teams in the league with a pair of TDs against Ventura and one against Mt. SAC, the two teams that shared the NNC title. Urban had a season-high 10 catches for 137 yards against VC.
Overall, Mt. SAC swept the Offensive Player of the Year, Aiden Ramos (RB) and Defensive Player of the Year, Teyondre Coleman (ILB) honors while Mt. SAC head coach Bob Jastrab and Ventura head coach, Steve Mooshagian, shared recognition as co-Coaches of the Year.
Moorpark (6-4) will travel to Southwestern (7-3) for the Patriotic Bowl on Saturday, Nov. 22 at 4:00 p.m.
